Sunrise Walk

An historical and natural route to Boca do Rio.

How about watching the sunrise at Boca do Rio? On this hike of almost three hours, you’ll discover the region’s historical and natural treasures. The route passes through the charming village and beach of Salema before returning to the park.

Important Information:

1. Wear comfortable footwear, as we’ll be walking on roads, hills, and sand.
2. Bring a warm jacket for the walk to Boca do Rio, as it will be chilly before sunrise, and a hat for the return to the park, as it will be sunny.
3. Bring some fruit or a snack, as well as water for the hike.
4. For the adventurous: feel free to bring your swimsuit if you’d like to take a quick dip in the sea at Boca do Rio.
5. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
6. For children under 10, parents should assess whether they are physically able to complete the route, as the trail is not suitable for strollers.
7. Pets are welcome, provided they are kept on a leash.
