Each brings to light a personal memory, long buried in time, marked by the freshness of youth and the strength of necessity.

They did not see themselves as heroines, but they are. They are all the women who stood up against political oppression. These are real stories – powerful, poetic, and deeply moving – that played a role in the liberation of Italy.

This work was born from thorough historical research and an unforgettable encounter with one of the protagonists, Paola Sibille, who, at just 16 years old, took action: “I made a decision and acted on it…”

A monologue of memory, a reminder that freedom is not guaranteed, and that it was won thanks to those who had the courage to fight for it.
